Hand-blown one-of-a-kind piece with a unique pattern in the center - a combination of studio glass and fusing techniques, putting together mouthblown glass and fused Murrine using the Incalmo technique.
 
In an elaborate manufacturing process, so-called Murrine were produced - patterned glass rods which in turn consist of a large number of individual glass rods - which were then melted together  and processed further. The fused Murrine thus created were then put together in the final act at the hot glass furnace and formed into the final object.
 
The bowl is 4cm high and 20.5 cm in diameter.
