Hand-blown one-of-a-kind piece with a unique pattern in the center - a combination of studio glass and fusing techniques, put together using the Muranese Incalmo technique.
 
In an elaborate manufacturing process, so-called Murrine were produced - patterned glass rods, which in turn consist of a large number of individual glass rods - which were then melted together in the fusing oven and processed further via coldworking techniques. The thus created Murrine plates were then put together in the final act at the hot glass furnace and formed into the final object.
