Hand-blown one-of-a-kind piece with a unique pattern in the center - a combination of studio glass and fusing techniques, put together using the Muranese Incalmo technique.
 
In an elaborate manufacturing process, so-called Murrine were produced - patterned glass rods, which in turn consist of a large number of individual glass rods - which were then melted together and processed further. The resulting fused Murrine patterns were then put together in the final act at the hot glass furnace (Incalmo technique) and formed into the final object.
