Hand-blown one-of-a-kind piece with a unique pattern in the center - a combination of oven glass and fused Murrine, put together using the Muranese Incalmo technique.
 
In an elaborate manufacturing process, so-called Murrine were produced - patterned glass rods, which in turn consist of a large number of individual glass rods - which were then melted together in the fusing oven and processed further by coldworking techniques. The fused Murrine plates thus created were then put together in the final act at the hot glass furnace and shaped into the final object.
